Carl Benz Lecture

We are pleased to invite you to this year's Carl Benz Memorial Lecture at the KIT Mobility Systems Center.

The event will take place on Thursday, November 24, 2022, from 3:45 p.m. to around 6:00 p.m. in the Tulla lecture hall (KIT, Campus Süd, Karlsruhe), followed by a snack in the foyer of the lecture hall.

This year it takes up the topic of battery research, for which high-ranking speakers from politics, industry and science could again be won:

Michael Theurer, Parlamentarischer Staatsekretär beim Bundesminister für Digitales und Verkehr, Mitglied des Deutschen Bundestages;

Dr. Ulf Zillig, Vice President Konzernforschung, Nachhaltigkeit und RD-Funktionen, Mercedes-Benz AG;

Prof. Dr. Thomas Hirth,  Vizepräsident für Transfer und Internationales, KIT;

Prof. Dr. Jürgen Fleischer, Leiter des Instituts für Produktionstechnik (wbk), KIT.

Prior to this, the-Ernst Schoemperlen-Foundation-Prices for outstanding scientific work are awarded.
