KIT im Rathaus 2025
The KIT Mobility Systems Centre is very pleased to participate in the “KIT im Rathaus” event. This opportunity allows us to present our latest research findings to a broad audience and engage in dialogue with interested citizens. We sincerely thank the FORUM team for the opportunity to showcase our work here, as well as for the excellent organization and support.
We have carefully prepared our program and look forward to presenting you with a varied and exciting agenda under the motto “Perspektiven der Nachhaltigkeit” You can expect a series of lectures that will highlight various aspects of future mobility and showcase innovative solutions to the challenges of mobility transformation. After welcome addresses by Dr. Albert Käuflein, Mayor of the City of Karlsruhe, and Prof. Dr. Oliver Kraft, Vice President Research at the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT), Prof. Dr. Eric Sax, Scientific Spokesperson of the KIT Mobility Systems Centre and Head of the Institute for Information Processing Technology (ITIV), as well as Prof. Dr. Ina Schaefer, Scientific Spokesperson of the KIT Mobility Systems Centre and Chair of Testing, Validation, and Analysis of Software-Intensive Systems (TVA) will give insights on the research conducted within the KIT Mobility Systems Centre. The lecture program includes:
- Prof. Dr.-Ing. Dr. h. c. Albert Albers, Scientific Spokesperson of the KIT Center for Mobility Systems and Head of the Institute for Product Development (IPEK): " Systeminnovation als Basis des Mobilitätswandels"
- Prof. Dr.-Ing. Peter Vortisch, Head of the Institute for Transport Studies (IfV): "Verkehrswissenschaft und Verkehrspolitik – ziehen wir am gleichen Strang?"
- Prof. Dr. Caroline Kramer, Chair of Human Geography, Institute of Geography and Geoecology (IFGG): Die mobile Gesellschaft – zwischen Home Office und Multilokalität
